False hemp grows widely in Anatolia. False hemp also known as Kazdağı otu (Ida Mountain grass) in Turkey. The dye plant grows in particularly Turkey, the Caucasus and northern India. Hemp (Datisca cannabina) uses as a dye plant in many countries. It is a sustainable dye plant for yellow dyeings. Especially the dye plant uses in cellulose (cotton-linen-rayon) based fibers.

According to the dying recipe; yellow and yellow shades.
