Buckthorn (Rhamnus petiolaris Boiss)
The golden tree, Anatolian buckthorn, yellow berry and Rhamnus cathartica ,also known as acacia, is a thorny shrub or shrub-like dye plant that can be sized up to 3 meters. Rhamnus petiolaris, also known as golden tree, grows endemic in Central Anatolia.
It is known that it is used as a natural dyestuff that gives a yellow color with the name Anatolian Buckthorn and Persian berries in English, Faerbe kreuzdorn in German, Graine jaune in French and Rhamnos vaphikos in Greek.
